Injuries

The product poses a risk of injuries because the resistance of APS and TPS wire in the wire harness may increase due to an insufficient crimped connection of the ground lead wire from the APS/TPS to the ECU. Under these conditions, the output voltage of APS/TPS may read an improper value and send the incorrect signal to the ECU. With this improper signal, the ECU may cause unstable engine idle speed and/or the display of a malfunction code (50 and/or 60). In the worst case, the engine idle speed may become suspended around 3000 rpm even if the throttle grip is released while riding.
