The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of 3.7 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the footwear and 0.55 mg/kg in the sachet which is included inside the packaging.
Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
