Electric shock and injuries
The product poses a risk of electric shock and injuries because:
- it has inadequate protection from hazardous moving parts;
- the supply cord is inadequately sized and does not have the correct colour coding of the conductors;
- the supply cord is not provided with an adequate form of cord anchorage;
- the earthing terminal is inadequate.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
Action Taken:
Stock voluntarily surrendered by importer for destruction.
