Electric shock
The mains adaptor poses a risk of electric shock because:
1. the internal insulation between the input and output circuits is not sufficient;
2. internal connections rely upon solder to maintain their position;
3. the dimensions of the live and neutral pins are incorrect.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), the relevant European standard EN 61558 and the relevant national standards.
Action Taken:
Voluntary withdrawal from the market.
