The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:
- the cross-section area of the conductors in the cable is not sufficient. As a result, the cable can overheat while the lamp is being charged causing a fire.
- live parts are accessible while the lamp is being charged posing a risk of electric shock for the user.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers ordered by the authorities.
