The products pose a chemical risk and an environmental risk because the packages (i.e. plastic bags) contain respectively 390 mg/kg and 570 mg/kg of cadmium (expressed as Cd metal), exceeding the limit of 100 mg/kg by mass of the polymer.
The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
Action Taken:
Voluntary corrective actions taken and import rejected by the customs authorities.
