The product poses a risk of electric shock, fire and burns because:
- the cable entry for the supply cord has sharp edges which could damage the insulation of the cord;
- there is no cord anchorage;
- live parts and parts with basic insulation are easily accessible during lamp replacement.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and with the relevant European standards EN 60598 and EN 50075.
Action Taken:
Sales ban ordered by the authorities.
