The ski bindings concerned by the recall all bear a manufacture date code ending in "8" (indicating the year 2008). This code is located on the central section of the binding toe piece, at the place where the ski boot comes into contact with the toe piece.

Injuries
The product poses a risk of injuries because there is the possibility that it could inadvertently release during use when the binding is set to a low release value (DIN value below 5) and/or the front part of the ski boot is worn.
Two incidents have been reported where injuries were attributed to the inadvertent release of the binding.
Action Taken:
Voluntary withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers by the manufacturer.
