Injuries and burns
The product poses a risk of injuries and burns because: - the chain guard does not remain in place if the machine is placed vertically; - the shut-off mechanism is in such a position that it is not easy to stop the machine under normal operating conditions, particularly if the operator is wearing protective gloves; - the exhaust silencer is positioned near the front handle and direct contact with it is possible when the brake is applied.
The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 11681.
Action Taken:
Voluntary withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers by the importer.
