Choking
The product poses a risk of choking because the decorative stones are similar to sweet or pieces of maize that it could be confused with real sweets or corns and swallowed by children. The product does not comply with Directive 87/357/EEC on products which, appearing to be other than they are, endanger the health or safety of consumers.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market and obligation to inform consumers against the risks posed by the product ordered by the authorities.
