Electric shock
The product poses a risk of electric shock because it is unearthed and metal parts could become live:
- the wires touch the sharp edges of the metal mounting plate;
- the stranded conductor at the live terminal can contact accessible metal parts;
- the mounting plate fixing screws may damage the single-insulated internal wiring.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers ordered by the authorities.
