Danger:

Electric shock

The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
·         The insulation between the accessible metal parts and active parts of the soldering iron is not sufficient.
·         The dimensions of the flat plug are too small and the pins are not fitted with insulating parts.
·         The cross-section area of the core of the cable is less then required.
·         The inlet of the cable does not have an insulating lining or bushing.
·         The mains supply cable is not protected against pulling and twisting.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

Action Taken:

Withdrawal from the market and recall from consumers ordered by the authorities.
