The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
- it is possible to change the lamp or gain access to the internal live parts whilst the mains socket-mounted night light is connected to the power supply;
- the plug dimensions are not compliant;
- there is no over-current protection.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Voluntary withdrawal from the market and stop of sales by the importer.
