Electric shock
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
- there is no over current protection (no fuse);
- the cover can be removed when the night-light is plugged into a mains socket outlet and live parts could consequently be touched;
- the bulb can be touched when the night-light is plugged to the mains socket outlet without removing the cover.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Voluntary withdrawal from the market.
