The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
· live parts are accessible when the housing of the luminaire is open for lamp replacement;
· the mains supply cable is insulated with PVC which is not sufficiently resistant;
· the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the supply cable is not sufficient;
· the supply cable is not protected against pulling and twisting and the live cable ends may become accessible.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
