Electric shock and fire
The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because: - the mean output power deviated by 50% (10% permitted); - the temperature during use can reach up to 113 ْ C (105ْ C permitted); - the construction of the transformer does not comply with the requirements; - the casing close to the plug does not comply with the requirements for resistance to heat.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
Action Taken:
Voluntary stop of sales and withdrawal from the market by the distributor. Sales ban and recall from consumers ordered by the authorities.
