The product poses a chemical risk because the black plastic material in the belt of the conveyor contains 0.7% bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and 13% of di-"isononyl" phthalate (DINP).
According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or the childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
Action Taken:
Import rejected by the customs authorities.
