Electric shock
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:
1. It has inadequate insulation.
2. The supply cord is inadequately sized and is not properly anchored.
3. The travel adaptor supplied to enable the product to be connected to a UK socket has socket contacts that are not protected by shutters and the pins are not of the required dimensions.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60065 and the relevant national standard BS1363.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
