Electric shock and fire
The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:
- the torch can be opened without using a tool while it is connected to the mains supply, thus live parts are accessible;
- the construction of the mains cable does not comply with the requirements and live parts could be touched during use;
- the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the cable is too small.
The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
Action Taken:
Withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
