The product poses a risk of injuries because:
- in the transport position of the machine the teeth of the saw blade can be touched;
- the left part of the fence, outside the bevel area, was not high enough to support the work piece adequately;
- in the machine's bevel position the fence gives too much clearance between the saw-cut and the fence on the left side. With the maximum angle the clearance is of 14 millimetres.
Accidents reported.
The product does not comply with the Machinery Directive or with the relevant European standard EN 61029.
Action Taken:
Sales ban and withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
