The product poses a chemical risk because, in view of the particularly attractive appearance of the packaging, the probability of inappropriate exposure to this product (primarily ingestion) is increased. The container, which makes the product appear to be a toy or doll and gives it a fun appearance, conveys a message that the risk associated with the product is minimal and draws attention away from the content of the product and the general precautions for its use.
The detergent contains dangerous substances, in particular Sodium Laureth sulfate and Cocamidopropyl betaine, which in the concentration present in the product are irritant to eyes. In addition, it contains limonene, substance which can cause allergic reactions and which implies obligation of warning on the label.
Action Taken:
Sales ban and withdrawal from the market ordered by the authorities.
