The product poses a chemical risk to children because it contains 0.8% by weight bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP).
According to the REACH Regulation, phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited when the toy or childcare article can be placed in the mouth by children.
Action Taken:
Voluntary stop of sales and withdrawal from the market by the supplier.
