The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 0.34 mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the red inner lining fabric (direct contact with skin) of the shoes.
Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.
